Ann-Marie's Classes

Art & Quilt

We have been exploring the design principles used in creating our own quilts. We have been making
12"x 12" blocks to incorporate our ideas. This process has been great fun and has encouraged us to grow in ways we didn't expect.

Thursday, May 3rd and Monday, June 18th
6:30pm to 8:30pm
Cost: free

Fibre Arts Class

Distressing fabric and other types of embellishment such as Tyvec, lutradur etc. It is amazing to see how the look of fabric and other embellishments can be changed when heated. I have several small samples of mini quilts that have distressed embellishments in them so you can see how to include them in quilts.

Saturday, May 26th

Welcome to our NEW venture!!

Finally after a lot of preparation here we are!!!

Let us tell a little bit about ourselves. We are neighbours that love creating and sharing. It is our shared admiration of each others work that brought us together. We are Ann-Marie Sellers & Lana LaPierre!

Lana, is a Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and Ann-Marie is a Quilter/Fibre Artist. Ann-Marie works primarily with fabric and Lana works mostly with paper. There is a crossover between fabric and paper, many of the techniques that work on paper also work on fabric and vice-versa. During the past months we have worked together on many projects and as we shared our skills we found our level of creativity took off. We could see the potential in combining both our talents especially since both of us are comfortable in working with a variety of mediums. We were so "inspired" we decided to work together in our "Inspired Design Spot!"

We plan to offer a wide variety of classes, quest artists, retreats and lots of inspiration!! We've created this blog so you find our current classes, ideas and happenings. This is very exciting for us and we would be happy to accommodate any requests. Please have patience with us as we are a work in progress.

Till tomorrow,
Lana & Ann-Marie
